Renewable Energy Structured Finance Analyst

Robert Walters Spain is seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Structured Finance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Structured Finance team, you will be responsible for financial modelling activities addressing commercial, technical, and financial parameters of projects for debt financing structuring and project valuation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial modelling for debt financing structuring and project valuation, including sensitivity analysis
  • Managing and following up the financial close process in Europe, iterating with internal teams and financial institutions
  • Preparation of financial models for renewable energy tenders and/or PPA
  • Drafting materials for internal investment approvals, financial close processes, and asset sale processes
  • Supporting the Head of Structured Finance MA in negotiations with financial entities and finalising project finance documentation
  • Providing assistance to other departments on project contracts and financing conditions
  • Following up on documentation related to project financing
  • Coordinating and drafting information for internal Committee approval
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a quantitative or technical field
  • +3 years' experience in corporate finance, financial advisory, project finance, and/or debt structuring practices
  • Advanced EXCEL skills, including financing modelling and sensitivities
  • Knowledge of EXCEL VBA coding
  • Demonstrable financial modelling experience, including building financial models from scratch
  • Knowledge on project finance modelling key processes and variables
  • Project Management skills to lead the rest of the department
  • English and Spanish language proficiency
