Renewable Energy Senior Developer Focused In Wind And Bess

RWE Renewables Iberia S.A.U. is seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Senior Developer to join our team in Madrid, Spain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities for renewable energy projects, primarily wind and BESS.
  • Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies, including resource analysis, environmental impact assessments, and financial viability evaluations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of the project from inception to completion, including obtaining permits, licenses, and managing suppliers and contractors.
  • Collaborate with local governments, regulators, communities, and other key stakeholders to ensure support and compliance with local regulations.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for investors, executives, and other stakeholders.
  • Help coordinate the engineering and construction of projects, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Track project progress and provide regular reports on status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Engineering (preferably in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar fields).
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing renewable energy projects in Spain, with a solid track record of successfully completed projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with renewable technologies, resource analysis, and power generation systems.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Spanish regulations regarding renewable energy and infrastructure development.
  • Management Skills: Advanced project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and, preferably, a good level of English.
