Job Title: Senior Specialist, Public Affairs and Relations

SABIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist, Public Affairs and Relations to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our Government Relations team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and advocating on EU and national policies that impact our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret EU and national policies, identifying potential threats and opportunities for SABIC.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to develop and implement SABIC's position on key policy issues.
  • Represent SABIC in Brussels and The Hague, building relationships with key stakeholders and influencers.
  • Develop and maintain deep regulatory and market intelligence expertise, staying up-to-date on the latest policy developments.
  • Collaborate with industry associations and other platforms to promote a favorable legislative framework for SABIC's operations in Europe.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as politics, international relations, or business.
  • 5-10 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of influencing policy decisions and developing effective advocacy strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus.
