Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist, Public Affairs and Policy to join our team at Sabic Americas, Inc. This role will be responsible for analyzing and advocating on EU and National policies, identifying threats and opportunities to SABIC, and engaging with internal stakeholders to prepare SABIC's position for the transition to a circular and climate-neutral economy in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and advocate on EU and National policies to ensure SABIC's interests are represented
  • Identify threats and opportunities to SABIC and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to prepare SABIC's position on key policy issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry associations, regulators, and other stakeholders to promote SABIC's interests
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management on policy and regulatory issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant science, engineering, or industry-related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in a related field, including policy analysis, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong understanding of EU and National policies and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
