Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist, Public Affairs and Relations to join our team at Sabic Americas, Inc. in a key role that will drive our public affairs and policy strategy in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of our public affairs and policy strategy in the region, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and other external partners.
  • Monitor and analyze policy developments and trends, identifying opportunities and threats to our business and developing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective advocacy and outreach strategies to influence policy decisions and promote our interests.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that our public affairs and policy efforts are aligned with our business objectives and goals.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior leadership on public affairs and policy matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as public policy, government relations, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective public affairs and policy strategies.
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and other external partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop effective strategies to address them.
  • Strong understanding of the public affairs and policy landscape in the region, including key trends, issues, and stakeholders.
