Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of our company's public affairs and relations strategy in Europe, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze EU and national policies, identifying potential threats and opportunities for our company.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to prepare our company's position on key policy issues, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry associations, regulators, and other key stakeholders to promote our company's interests.
- Represent our company at EU and national level, advocating for our position on key policy issues.
- Support the development of our company's agenda on major developments in the areas of plastics and climate regulation and legislation.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant science, engineering, or industry-related field.
- 5-10 years' experience in a related field, with a strong background in public affairs and relations.
- Significant experience in commodity, financial, and compliance risk management activities and strategy development.
- Highly developed influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of SABIC's operations and value drivers, as well as the chemicals and plastics industry.
- Results-driven, goal-oriented working style, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- English fluency, with other languages a plus.
