We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist, Public Affairs and Relations to join our team at Sabic Americas, Inc. This is a key role that will play a critical part in shaping our company's public affairs and relations strategy in the Americas region.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of our company's public affairs and relations strategy in the Americas region.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and other external partners.
- Monitor and analyze policy developments and trends in the region, and provide recommendations on how to engage with them.
- Develop and implement effective advocacy strategies to promote our company's interests and values.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination on public affairs and relations initiatives.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior leadership on public affairs and relations matters.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as public policy, international relations, or communications.
- 5-10 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or a related field.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in other languages a plus.
