Job Title: Maintenance Manager

At QIAGEN, we are committed to making a real difference in science and healthcare. We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our multidisciplinary team within the Maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize machinery functionality within ISO clean room standards.
  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize production downtime.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and provide emergency support for repairs to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and train maintenance technicians for effective and safe performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including cost control measures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to implement best practices and new technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field in a scientific/technical discipline preferred.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of maintenance technicians.
  • Experience in design and maintenance of complex manufacturing or scientific equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues/equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in budget management and cost control measures.
  • Good command of English.
