Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Digital Design to join our dynamic and growing team at Openchip & Software Technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of expert designers to create and implement digital design solutions.
  • Drive the design execution of silicon design projects from definition through product launch.
  • Develop and implement SoC digital design architecture and design for manufacturing (DFM) concepts.
  • Implement and verify digital design for test (DFT) measures to meet product specifications and production requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet test requirements with effective DFT solutions.
  • Achieve target coverage requirements for logic, memories, IO, and mixed signal IPs.
  • Generate test patterns and support post-silicon automatic test equipment (ATE) and quality and reliability (QnR).
  • Continuously improve DFT methods to optimize test time, IR-Drop, and testability on internal and external IPs.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of digital design and DFT with expertise in managing a digital design team.
  • Expertise in ATPG scan, test controller, MBIST, and their implementation.
  • Expertise in hardware description languages (HDL), synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), top-level constraints, and scripting.
  • Expertise in electronic design automation (EDA) tools, e.g. VCS, TestMax DFT/ATPG/Advisor.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in volume production.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a large corporation.
  • Knowledge of network-on-chip architecture.
  • RISC-V ISA/architecture and SOC based on this processor.
  • Knowledge of high-level digital design languages.
  • Knowledge of architecture analysis tools used for metric analysis.
  • Good knowledge of scripting languages: Perl, Python.
