About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Director to lead our product design team at Factorial HR. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our design vision, driving innovation, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of product designers to deliver high-quality design solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences, and use this insight to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and sales, to ensure that design solutions are feasible and aligned with business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our design process and output.
  • Develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency and quality across our products.
  • Conduct design research and analysis to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a design roadmap that aligns with business objectives and priorities.
  • Provide design guidance and mentorship to junior designers to help them grow and develop their skills.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and InVision.
  • Experience with design systems and design operations.
  • Strong understanding of business objectives and priorities, and the ability to align design solutions with these goals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience building and leading a design team from scratch.
  • Experience with design research and analysis.
  • Experience with design operations and design systems.
