Mass Markets, a leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's accounting processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and reconciliations.
  • Prepare budgets by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data, and recommending plans.
  • Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
  • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Coordinate bank deposits and reports financial results on a regular basis to management.
  • Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
  • Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Maintain financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
  • Produce payroll by initiating computer processing, printing checks, initiating direct deposit, and verifying finished product.
  • Secure financial information by maintaining strict confidentiality.

**Candidate Qualifications:**

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
