Sustainability Expert

Job Summary:

Sibelco Group is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our global sustainability team, you will provide expertise and support to develop and implement global strategies, programs, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of global sustainability strategies and programs.
• Manage environmental and sustainability compliance and risks.
• Implement policies, guidelines, and strategies from Global Sustainability relating to Environmental and Social Governance.
• Engage with stakeholders in the permitting processes and throughout the lifecycle of the site.
• Play a proactive role in community engagement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
• Practical understanding of the industrial mineral industry.
• Understanding of environment and sustainability management systems.
• Preferably 3 years of work experience in sustainability/environmental management or a similar field.
• Experience working with governments, authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Advanced English level.
• Local language of the country of base and main operations.
