About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Officer to join our team at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal). The successful candidate will lead the implementation of our communication strategy and support the team with diverse tasks aimed at enhancing the malaria knowledge hub's visibility.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement communication activities to raise awareness about our work.
  • Develop compelling content for the website, social media, presentations, and reports.
  • Manage our social media platforms and prepare regular briefings.
  • Manage our newsletters and audiences.
  • Work with website developers to manage and update our website.
  • Create event-related communication materials.
  • Track trends in social impact communications and implement new ideas.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in social impact communications.
  • University degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
  • Native-level of English. French, Spanish, Catalan and other languages are an added advantage.
