Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at Hotel Mandarin Oriental Barcelona. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling telephone inquiries, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle telephone inquiries, taking messages and ensuring delivery to the relevant departments.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, adhering to hotel standards and policies.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Assist guests with internet access challenges and provide technical support as needed.
- Be aware of the need for discretion when handling sensitive information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Deal with emergency requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring the highest level of service delivery.
- Report any technical issues or faults to the relevant authorities, logging action and ensuring prompt resolution.
- Assist with housekeeping reports of telephone faults or message lights needing repair.
- Be willing to cross-train and assist in reception and concierge as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous service experience in a luxury hotel environment.
- Knowledge of computers and systems, with excellent technical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal command of Spanish, Catalan, and English.
- Excellent overall communication skills, with a strong desire to provide exceptional guest service.
- Flexible schedules and hours, with a willingness to work on weekends.
