About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Architect to join our team at Dow Jones & Company, Inc. in Barcelona. As a UX Architect, you will play a key role in driving digital growth efforts and creating innovative experiences that engage and appeal to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product and UX Architecture teams to design and develop user-centered experiences for our New Factiva platform.
  • Conduct user research and analysis to inform design decisions and create holistic experiences.
  • Develop journey maps, wireframes, and functional specifications to bring projects from concept to delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable design libraries and interaction patterns within our design system.
  • Work closely with the accessibility lead to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your skills and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of human-centered design principles, HCI, and UX best practices.
  • Experience with component-based design, design systems, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in designing for news or financial services industries.
  • Previous work on subscription and membership flows.
  • Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and compliance.
