About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Architect to join our team at Dow Jones. As a UX Architect, you will play a key role in driving digital growth efforts and creating innovative experiences that engage and appeal to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product and UX Architecture teams to design and develop user-centered experiences for our B2B business.
  • Develop journey maps, detailed wireframes, and functional specifications to create holistic experiences.
  • Contribute to identifying common patterns and creating interaction patterns for reusable libraries within our design system.
  • Work with the accessibility lead to ensure standards are implemented and documented on all components and workflows within the product.
  • Partner with UX Design, Research, Product, and Technology teams to deliver high-quality projects.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in UX design.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong grasp of Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, and UX principles.
  • Understanding of best practices for mobile, web-based, and responsive design.
  • Experience with component-based design and design systems.
  • Experience working in Agile and with Figma.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience and UX skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in designing for news or financial services.
  • Previous work on subscription and membership flows.
  • Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and compliance.
