About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Lead Support Specialist to join our team at Ambit. As a key member of our Global Application Experience, Global IT team, you will provide technical leadership for on-premise and cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to user communities in Asian or EU zones for application systems.
  • Perform system lead tasks, including application administration and system lifecycle documentations.
  • Lead technical initiatives in application roadmaps through close coordination with system owners.
  • Participate in build, upgrade, and/or migration projects.
  • Ensure systems are up-to-date by leading and executing technical upgrades, applying patches, bug-fixes, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Manage security tasks, including user account reviews, technical account reviews, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and conduct activities in a highly regulated and compliant environment.
  • Analyze business needs, prioritize tasks, develop solutions, and conduct data processes to improve IT system operations.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience as an application and/or system support specialist (System Engineer) or 6+ years of experience as an application owner and/or system administrator.
  • System administration skills, including Windows, Unix, and Linux.
  • Cloud administration expertise, including Azure and AWS.
  • Database administration knowledge.
  • Information protection and security expertise.
  • Networking skills.
Work Arrangements
  • Flexible working hours, with a standard schedule of 08:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday.
  • 1 day of office work and 4 days of remote work.
