Job Title: Global Procurement Solar Associate

MISSIONEDP Renewables is a global leader in the renewable energy sector and a major player in the solar industry. With a strong presence in 28 international markets, EDPR has established itself as a key player in the global solar market.

As a Global Procurement Solar Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and execution of EDPR's ambitious solar procurement strategy. This strategy aims to establish long-term partnerships with world-class suppliers of solar equipment, including PV modules, inverters, and trackers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Solar Procurement Manager in the development and execution of procurement strategies and initiatives.
  • Executing end-to-end tender processes and negotiations with suppliers.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contributing to the development of a close network with solar industry players and stakeholders.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Drive and support the Procurement Manager Solar in all strategic initiatives towards the goal of achieving long-term partnerships with suppliers.
  • Procurement Processes: Execution of RFIs, RFPs / RFQs and any necessary bid process to evaluate product options and select the right supplier for a given project or set of projects.
  • Compliance with EDP internal approval processes and guidelines.
  • Relationship Management: Contribute to develop a close network with all solar industry players and stakeholders having an impact on EDP Solar business.
