About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Vans. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction in our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and profitability in synergy with your Store Manager
  • Motivate, mentor, and coach sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Assist your Store Manager in implementing established retail processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Stay on top of core retail operational procedures, including inventory management and financial reporting
  • Provide cover in the store manager's absence and lead the team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Proven experience in retail leadership, with a strong understanding of sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary
