Job Summary

The Revenue Systems Trainee will be responsible for the implementation and accuracy of the hotel revenue strategy across key revenue-related systems, including CRS, PMS, S&C, IDeaS G3, 3rd party partners, and add-ons. This role will support the Revenue Team on daily rates and contracted rate implementation, room availability, and inventory allocations across all distribution streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing and Yield Management: Ensure RMS/Revenue Manager pricing recommendations and decisions are implemented across channels/systems, including restriction, overbooking, allotment, pricing changes, and rate parity.
  • Channel Maintenance: Open/close, adjust free-sale FIT/Wholesaler rates and availability via channel manager (or operator's extranets), maintain and update the channel manager accordingly (when applicable).
  • Rate Management: Load new rate requests (as per SLA), including corporate negotiated rates, FIT/Wholesaler, group rates, pricing structures, room types, 3rd party partners, loyalty offers, promotional activities, etc.
  • CRS Auditing: Ensure CRS accuracy through audit.
  • Support Revenue Optimization Projects: Implement key revenue optimization-related projects, including new pricing models, room types, EMMA, etc.

Requirements:

  • Education: Currently studying a bachelor's or master's degree in hospitality or business administration.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with another European language a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: Good communication and social skills, a good team player, trustworthy, well-organized, flexible, and cooperative.
