About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Optimization Manager to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (Spain Branch) - G84. As a key member of our Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial success for our customers by creating and delivering executive-level content, serving as a subject matter expert in cost and commercial aspects throughout the customer life-cycle, and empowering clients with tools for effective cloud and IT spend management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance to our customers on cloud financial management principles and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level content, including financial business cases, Return on Investment (ROI) analysis, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
  • Oversee the implementation of cost optimization strategies, ensuring measurable outcomes and driving financial efficiency for our clients.
  • Assess and meet customer reporting and analytic needs, establishing and measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with our account teams to develop and implement cost optimization strategies and best practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Managerial experience overseeing financial advisory or cost optimization teams, preferably in the technology or cloud computing industry.
  • Experience of leadership in developing executive-level content, including financial business cases, ROI analysis, and TCO analysis.
  • Experience and understanding of cloud and IT spend management, with the ability to guide and enable team members in implementing cost optimization strategies and best practices.
  • Experience in assessing and meeting customer reporting and analytic needs, as well as establishing and measuring KPIs.
