Job Title: Commercial Officer

The Embassy of India in Madrid is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Officer to join its team. As a Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for promoting and developing trade and economic relations between India and Spain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote Indian trade and investment in Spain
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities in key sectors such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, and information technology
  • Provide market research and analysis to Indian businesses looking to expand into the Spanish market
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Spanish business community
  • Assist in organizing trade missions and business delegations to and from India
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as economics, business administration, or international relations
  • Professional proficiency in Spanish and English
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
