Financial Control and Reporting Specialist

Your mission:
You will oversee accounting functions, ensuring compliance with US and local GAAP accounting standards, as well as PepsiCo's policies and guidelines, thereby guaranteeing precision and transparency in all financial data. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing corporate reports and fulfilling other reporting obligations from regional and European sector teams.
ResponsibilitiesYour daily activities include:
Performing monthly calculations for Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) in collaboration with the Supply Chain team. Generating and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) on a monthly basis, including Volume, Cost Cause of Change, and Mix Effect. Conducting comparative analysis of Profit & Loss statements against previous periods or forecasts, identifying primary drivers for variances. Leading Balance Sheet reviews, overseeing reconciliation processes, and analyzing to identify risks and opportunities. Analyzing Operating Cash Flow. Assisting auditors during reviews by providing comprehensive transaction clarifications and necessary documentation, as well as preparing local statutory accounts. Managing Key Controls related to Financial Reporting and inventory processes to ensure thoroughness. Supporting compliance with local legal and tax obligations. QualificationsWhat will you need to succeed?
Educational background in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting/Finance. Proficiency in both Spanish and English. Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel. Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in reporting. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan and manage time effectively while working collaboratively.We welcome applicants who may not meet every requirement but are enthusiastic about the role.
