Assistant Payroll Manager

RingCentral is seeking an experienced Assistant Payroll Manager to join our Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and preparation of financial consolidation for our Parent and wholly owned subsidiaries on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer all payroll-related items for our Spain entity.
- Deputize in the absence of the Payroll Manager to oversee all duties.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll, including salary, equity compensation, payroll taxes, statutory and supplemental benefits.
- Create and update cash forecasting for monthly and quarterly payroll salary/tax payment requirements.
- Manage relationships with external Payroll vendors, HR, and benefit providers.
- Provide required documentation as requested by company internal and external auditors.
- Implement process improvements to increase accuracy and payroll department efficiency.
- Serve as payroll subject matter expert responding to any payroll-related inquiries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum 5 years of relevant management experience.
- Experience in working in global companies and knowledge of compliances in international subsidiaries is required.
- Strong sense of ownership and curiosity to learn new skills.
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to speak English.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong time management skills and able to meet competing deadlines.
