Shift Details
This role operates during the Night Shift and is stationed at our logistics hub.

Role Significance
Operations serve as the core of Amazon's business model. This vital segment ensures that we efficiently fulfill and dispatch orders, guaranteeing timely delivery for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture a team of Area Managers.
- Oversee operational teams during your shift, address challenges, and enhance site performance.
- Evaluate shift performance against key business metrics and implement strategies to elevate operational standards.
- Collaborate closely with various support teams, including Human Resources, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security.
- Develop and execute initiatives aimed at boosting operational efficiency.

About Our Team
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is responsible for the 'last mile' delivery operations, working in conjunction with third-party distribution partners. We employ innovative thinking and continuous improvement strategies to ensure millions of products reach our customers.

Our mission is to streamline the delivery experience for our customers while launching global delivery solutions for our latest services, such as Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.

We have two operational facets: our 'under the roof' associates manage the processing of millions of products for dispatch, while our 'on the road' team collaborates with Amazon Flex, a network of delivery contractors. Each year, we strive to enhance customer experience through new and innovative delivery methods.

Basic Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in managing people and stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in English and intermediate proficiency in the local language.
- Experience in utilizing data or anecdotal evidence to inform business decisions.
- Background in key production and supply chain areas.

Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Experience in a comparable logistics environment.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional context.
