Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop a team of Area Managers to drive operational excellence
- Lead operational teams on a shift, addressing issues and positively impacting site performance
- Analyze shift performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security
- Design and deliver initiatives to enhance operational performance across sites
Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver millions of physical products to our customers. Our goal is to provide a seamless delivery experience and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts, such as Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.
Our team is focused on operations, with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations. We prioritize people-focused and supportive work environments, particularly for night shift associates. We also focus on reducing our carbon footprint through the use of cutting-edge vehicles and technology.
Requirements- A degree
- Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate proficiency in the local language
- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
- Relevant experience in key areas of production and supply chains
Preferred qualifications include experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques, as well as experience working with the MS Office suite in a professional environment.
