This role is critical to ensuring the smooth delivery of our customers' packages and requires a strong leader who can analyze performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of Area Managers to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed in their roles.
- Operational Excellence: Analyze shift performance data and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Initiative Development: Design and deliver initiatives across the sites to improve operational performance and drive business growth.
About the Team:
Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, is a critical component of our logistics network, handling last mile delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. Our goal is to provide a seamless delivery experience for our customers, and we are committed to using creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve this goal.
Requirements:
- Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Experience: Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management, as well as experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
- Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate proficiency in the local language.
- Technical Skills: Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions, as well as experience in key areas of production and supply chains.
