Job Summary: We are seeking an IT Specialist - Technical Support to join our team in Barcelona - El Prat. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our computer systems and networks, installing and configuring hardware and software, and providing technical support to staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Provide technical support to staff and clients via phone or in-person
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Replace parts as required
- Support the roll-out of new applications
- Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
- Respond within agreed time limits to technical issues
- Work continuously on a task until completion
- Prioritize and manage multiple technical cases simultaneously
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Windows Server environment, including Group Policy Management
- Knowledge of Office 365 and Azure AD
- Knowledge of WYSE / Citrix VDI environment
- Business information technology
- Business systems engineering
- Computer networking and hardware
- Computer science
- Information technology
- Software engineering
- Fluent Spanish and English spoken and written, with Italian considered a plus
- Analytical thinking skills
- Ability to use initiative
- Valid driving license
- Valid criminal record check
- Right to live and work in Spain prior to application
