About the Role
At Amazon Spain Services, S.L.U., we are committed to enhancing customer satisfaction through operational excellence. We are currently looking for a Global Reliability Engineering Project Coordinator to join our dedicated team focused on maintenance engineering.

This position requires extensive knowledge in project coordination, technical expertise, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:

  • Oversee the complete project lifecycle for new initiatives and equipment upgrades, including requirement analysis, strategic planning, risk assessment, and successful implementation.
  • Take full ownership of large-scale engineering initiatives, encompassing planning, design, installation, commissioning, and launch support.
  • Evaluate and communicate project progress, proactively addressing potential risks and delays across various teams.
  • Work collaboratively with Field Engineering, Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME), Design & Construction, and operational teams to establish project objectives and success metrics.
  • Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders.
  • Develop Business Continuity and Risk Mitigation strategies in collaboration with site RME teams for a smooth transition from construction or field engineering.
  • Support the expansion and execution of the RME qualification process, including vendor management and feedback mechanisms.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with Design, Engineering, RME, Procurement, and Safety teams.

About Our Team
The ELM team is responsible for the seamless transfer of assets to the RME teams, collaborating closely with Project Delivery Teams across various sectors. Our mission is to ensure an efficient and effective building experience from the RME perspective, focusing on minimizing downtime, enhancing equipment availability, and ensuring technician readiness.

Basic Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in engineering project management, with a successful track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for navigating ambiguity and making informed, data-driven decisions.
  • A demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing projects across multiple countries.
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques and data manipulation in Excel.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • An MBA, advanced degrees, and/or relevant certifications.
  • A solid understanding of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
