About the Role:
Medtronic is seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management team. As a Technical Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing expert technical support to physicians and healthcare professionals in the operating room, as well as working with a network of accounts to expand the utilization of device therapies, diagnostics, and monitoring for Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure disease management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to physicians in the operating room during Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator implants and Electrophysiology procedures.
- Advise referring physicians on company products, therapies, and services to optimize patient outcomes.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers.
- Educate referring physicians on clinical evidence of defined therapies to demonstrate improved patient outcomes.
- Carry out all administrative duties and reports.
Requirements:
- University degree in Health sciences (biomedical engineering, electrical, IT, natural sciences, or other relevant degree).
- At least 2 years of experience minimum is required but it's not a limitation.
- Willingness to work with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians.
- Willingness to provide expert technical support in the operating room in the hospitals.
- Fluent English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
- Computer literacy.
- Communication skills and motivation to build strong business relationship with customers.
- Clean driving license; Willingness to travel intensively.
- Teamwork, proactivity and focus on delivering results.
