About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Importante empresa. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners, creating demand for our cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical knowledge and expertise to support business teams in developing and constructing offers to clients.
  2. Interact with partners to identify needs and business opportunities through technical consultancy.
  3. Regular customer visits to Spain, Italy, and Portugal, up to 2 times per month.
  4. Continuously train in the latest technologies to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  5. Analyze markets and customers with the sales force and engineering departments to develop technical proposal actions.
  6. Support customers' designers with technical proposals within specific technologies.
  7. Participate in product demonstrations, offer presentations, and contract negotiations.
Requirements
  1. Native Spanish and business fluency in English.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in technical sales or technical pre-sales, preferably within the IT industry.
  3. Strong understanding of cloud environments.
  4. Experience with cloud platforms, e.g. AWS, Azure.
  5. University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  6. Negotiating skills as well as strong communication skills.
  7. Strong customer orientation with a sense of innovation and technology.
  8. A real and innate passion to learn new technologies, a strong attitude for new and different challenges, be the best in what you learn.
  9. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  10. Experience in cross-functional collaboration and project management is beneficial.
  11. Foreign language skills like Italian or Portuguese - nice to have.
  12. Ability to travel freely across Spain, Italy, Portugal, and France.
