Plant Operations Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the technical team responsible for the development of conceptual, foundational, and detailed engineering processes for alkaline electrolyzers, focusing on various subsystems including separation, purification, electrical cabinets, and power and control electronics.
Authorize diverse designs, both flat and engineering-related.
- Organize documentation effectively.
Develop and interpret mechanical diagrams and P&IDs.
- Integrate subsystems across various power scales and facilitate the integration of multi-stack facilities.
Establish control strategies for hydrogen production systems.
- Manage budgeting and financial oversight of Balance of Plant (BoP) development activities.
- Oversee the commissioning and testing of equipment and designed facilities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (preferably with a focus on processes) or Industrial Engineering.
Desirable expertise in: Explosive atmospheres (ATEX); Design of pressure vessels; Facility legalization; Risk assessment methodologies such as HAZOP and SIL; Hydrogen technologies.
Proficient in English.
Capable of delivering presentations and leading meetings with international suppliers and clients.
Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and exhibit leadership qualities.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in hydrogen engineering roles or 10 years in process engineering across any level for equipment and/or plants (oil & gas).
At least 3 years of experience in managing and leading technical teams.
