We are seeking a highly skilled Material Manager to join our team at Nordex Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of materials to our wind turbine construction sites.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials
- Manage project-relevant material orders in SAP
- Monitor and mitigate potential bottlenecks and delays
- Interface with installations and service departments
- Support local material identification of spare parts
- Analyze and optimize PM inventories
- Collaborate with adjacent departments on operational and process issues
- Create project-specific material management plans
- Participate in material-relevant coordination meetings
- Continuously improve processes and data management
- Completed studies in industrial engineering, logistics, mechanical engineering, or business administration
- Several years of experience in procurement or material management
- Excellent knowledge of SAP MM and MS Office
- Very good written and spoken English
- Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work style
