OBJECTIVE:
The primary responsibility of the Electrical Operations Manager is to deliver specialized technical knowledge, particularly in electrical systems, throughout the installation and finalization stages to ensure the Wind Turbine/Wind Farm is ready for commissioning. Furthermore, the Electrical Operations Manager may participate in addressing quality discrepancies to facilitate not only a seamless transition to the client but also the efficient functioning of the Wind Turbine over its operational lifespan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Site Manager in overseeing and coordinating the construction activities of wind energy projects.
- Organize and lead meetings to strategize and execute tasks with subcontractors.
- Monitor and update the progress of work across various processes.
- Communicate any alterations in daily schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to prevent conflicts and overlaps in operations.
- Conduct visual assessments of tools and equipment.
- Ensure the proper execution of assembly operations.
- Identify and propose enhancements in process execution.
- Implement approved modifications from the change management protocol.
- Assess the financial implications of costs arising from deviations.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and requirements for personnel and subcontractors.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Willingness to undertake extended assignments on-site.
- Degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- A responsible and accountable individual.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and quick decision-making skills.
- Valid driving license.
