MISSION:

The Site Manager is the Nordex representative on site, accountable for executing Nordex Windfarms while adhering to HSE and Quality standards. They must deliver the project's scope of work within budget and schedule, serving as the main on-site responsible individual.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all project on-site activities comply with Nordex's general QHSE regulations and specific QHSE regulations for construction sites.
  • Manage construction activities to meet deadline, cost, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Execute contracts acquired with suppliers and customers.
  • Manage the relationship with the customer at the site level in alignment with the Project Manager.
  • Contract and relationship management with subcontractors, suppliers, and providers delivering their scope of work on site.
  • Coordinate the site team to deliver the scope of work.
  • Manage site-related activities and tasks during the execution readiness process.
  • Report internally as defined in the Governance plan.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline; other degrees will be considered with extensive experience in the wind industry (5 to 7 years).
  • Complementary training in internal IT systems and tools, such as SAP, BIC, Upvise, ServiceNow, Campus, NXTranslator, Windchill, Team Center, Webinar, Quentic, and CEIS.
  • Leadership and role-modeling abilities.
  • Ability to create and maintain good working relationships.
  • Clear and strong communication (written and oral).
  • Critical thinking and decision-making.
  • Ownership and end-to-end thinking.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Teamwork abilities.
  • High English level at least B2.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in project management, with demonstrated ability to successfully complete large-scale projects, managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Availability to travel: availability to be on-site for an extended period.
