MY TASKS
Maritime transport management for project cargo from pick-up to port of destination; Ensure coordinated execution of pre-runs and shipments meeting project needs. Interface with the regional Logistics Manager. Initiate and update project shipping plans and vessels operations as part of the overall Project Logistics planning. Close collaboration with Sourcing in RFQ preparation, supplier selection and performance review. Participation in the Hand Over from Tender Phase to Operations. Manage project budget related to the Logistics from PickUp to Port Arrival including but not limited to cost control and forecasting activities. Continuous contact with PM´s to coordinate the deliveries. Risk and Opportunities management [to be shared between Sourcing and Operations in case applicable across projects]. Ensure readiness of transport execution e.g. cargo and tooling availability. Prepare and share the required transport documentation with internal and external stakeholders. Claim management. Detention, demurrages and other extra-costs management. Maritime execution Kpi´s report. Propose Lesson Learnnings. Documentation collection and preparation. Invoice management. Support Regions in return transportation. Project reporting incl. KPI. Participate in COE Logistics.YOUR PROFILE
Qualification: University graduated (Logistics or maritime cargo is a plus). Complementary Training: High experience in international trade and/or experienced as vessel operator, customs management, knowledge of ERP, costs control, planning and logistics management. Organized and planned. Extensive knowledge of material logistics and export merchandise traffic. Accustomed to handling computer tools. Analytical, active, proactive and decisive. Fluent English level, other languages are valued (German). At least 3 years in a logistics management position. Preferable international shipments (maritime). Availability to travelYOUR BENEFITS
