About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Cyber Security team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects of medium to high complexity, from conceptualization through completion. You will work closely with program management, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met regarding time, budget, and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure efficient project work, assuming responsibility for interdisciplinary and cross-unit project management tasks.
  • Lead a project team in a global environment, setting up the project organization and staffing the team.
  • Drive RfI and RfP Processes in collaboration with the functional project team members and Procurement to ensure project staffing by external partners.
  • Manage Change Requests, including approval processes and adjustments to project planning and communication.
  • Perform Project Risk Management to secure the success of the project by early and constant evaluation of risk and opportunity development.
  • Support business relationship management and improve relations with operational business units and corporate functions.
  • Manage a global, cross-function team, coordinating tasks and ensuring communication within the team.
  • Participate in the project manager community, providing continuing and professional education through lessons learned and training activities.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in business and economics or computer science or a comparable education.
  • Several years of experience in project management, preferably in engineering of Cyber Security, IT Infrastructure, or as a Manager.
  • High analytical skills, customer, and service orientation, as well as outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to depict results convincingly and question current processes, welcoming new trends and innovations.
  • Great communications skills to align and communicate with stakeholders throughout BASF's organization.
  • Outstanding language skills in English.
