Job Title: Senior Quantitative UX Researcher

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative UX Researcher to join our team at Dow Jones. As a Senior Quantitative UX Researcher, you will play a critical role in driving efforts to transform and improve users' digital experiences, using data & insights to inform product and UX priorities while maintaining a constant cycle of feedback and iteration to ensure progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of user research strategies and plans to inform product and UX decisions.
  • Design, execute, and analyze quantitative research studies to understand user behavior and needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Experience Design, Experience Architecture, Data Science, Engineering, and Product Management, to integrate research findings into product development.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user behavior, preferences, and pain points to inform product and UX decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve research methods and tools.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in UX research, with a focus on quantitative methods.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience with research tools and methodologies, including survey design, usability testing, and A/B testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX research, with a focus on quantitative methods.
  • Experience working with large datasets and developing data-driven insights.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and Agile methodologies.
