We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Engineering Manager to join our client's innovative software development startup. Our client is a leading provider of multi-asset liquidity and technology white-label solutions for brokerages and exchanges, with a well-funded operation and a team of over 200 employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor a team of implementation managers and configuration specialists to deliver exceptional client service.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Recruit, interview, and hire top talent to build a strong and results-oriented team.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback for team member growth.
- Partner with sales and client success teams to understand client needs and design complex tech solutions.
- Develop and implement a project management methodology for successful B2B implementations.
- Lead project planning workshops and actively manage project risks, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.
- Oversee the team's delivery to guarantee client satisfaction beyond expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve optimal client outcomes.
- Identify areas for process improvement and continuously optimize team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to business development efforts by fostering strong client relationships and representing the team at industry events.
- 6+ years of experience in professional services, IT implementation, or a related field, with a focus on complex B2B solutions in the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing teams in a matrixed organization, achieving consistent project success and exceeding client expectations.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices, with a strong ability to adapt them to the specific needs of a startup environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects involving APIs, product configuration, and collaboration with diverse internal stakeholders.
We are looking for a candidate with a startup mentality, willing to be hands-on, adaptable, and resourceful in a resource-constrained environment. Understanding of regulatory requirements impacting institutional brokerage operations and fintech solutions is a plus.
