THE POSITION

The Centre de Regulació Genòmica (CRG) is seeking a talented Junior Group Leader to join our Quantitative Cell Biology Program. As a key member of our team, you will design and execute innovative research projects that address fundamental questions in cell biology, leveraging multidisciplinary approaches to bridge scales from molecules to organisms.

We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in areas that complement our current research, such as evolutionary cell biology or structural cell biology. Your research will be supported by generous core funding and access to cutting-edge core technologies, including proteomics, genomics, bioinformatics, microscopy, and more.

THE INSTITUTE

The CRG is a core-funded interdisciplinary institute with a strong focus on genomics, systems, computational, cell, and molecular biology. Our team of 400 scientists is organized into five research programs, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and excellence.

THE OFFER

We offer a 5-year contract renewable for a total of 9 years, subject to successful external peer review. You will receive structural funding to cover salaries and consumables for up to three people, depending on their qualifications. Our equipped laboratory and office space will provide you with the ideal environment to conduct your research, with access to cutting-edge core technologies and a highly stimulating environment.
