The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Group Leader to join our team at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG). As a Junior Group Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead your own research group and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in Quantitative Cell Biology.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Quantitative Cell Biology and a proven track record of research excellence. You will be responsible for designing and implementing research projects, mentoring junior researchers, and contributing to the development of the CRG's research programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement research projects in Quantitative Cell Biology
  • Mentor junior researchers and contribute to their professional development
  • Contribute to the development of the CRG's research programs and strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with other researchers and stakeholders to advance the field of Quantitative Cell Biology
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD in a relevant field (e.g. Quantitative Cell Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry)
  • A strong background in research and a proven track record of research excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
