The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is seeking a talented Junior Group Leader in Quantitative Cell Biology

The successful applicant will lead a research group focused on addressing fundamental questions in cell organisation and function, using multidisciplinary approaches to bridge scales from molecules to organisms. We welcome applications in areas that synergise with current research or broaden its scope into new areas, such as evolutionary cell biology or structural cell biology.

The Opportunity
  • Lead a research group with generous core-funding and access to cutting-edge core technologies
  • Join the Quantitative Cell Biology Program and collaborate with other CRG programs
  • Option to join the Barcelona Collaboratorium for Modelling and Quantitative Biology
  • Translational aspects will be considered, but not required as primary research aim
About the CRG

The CRG is a core-funded interdisciplinary institute with strengths in genomics, systems, computational, cell and molecular biology. Located at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park, the CRG consists of 400 scientists and offers a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructures.

What We Offer
  • Junior Group Leader position with a 5-year contract renewable for a total of 9 years, subject to successful external peer review
