Postdoctoral Researcher in RoHS Compliant Colloidal Quantum Dot Photodetectors

ICFO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our Functional Optoelectronic Nanomaterials group led by Prof. Dr. Gerasimos Konstantatos. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of RoHS compliant colloidal quantum dot photodetectors and image sensors.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, fabricate, and characterize optoelectronic devices for photodetection based on solution processed materials.
- Optimize material properties and device stack on a die level, and integrate the optimum QD stack on a full image sensor in collaboration with industrial partners.
- Conduct research and development in the field of colloidal quantum dot optoelectronics, with a focus on infrared and heavy metal free nanomaterials.
- Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Material Science, or equivalent degree.
- Strong background in the physics of optoelectronic devices and proficiency in TCAD modeling of photodetectors.
- Experience in charge transport studies, low noise techniques, and optoelectronic characterization of devices.
- Expertise in device fabrication and stack optimization using techniques related to solution processed materials, metallization, PVD, and ALD.
