Postdoctoral Researcher in RoHS Compliant Colloidal Quantum Dot Photodetectors

ICFO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the development of RoHS compliant colloidal quantum dot photodetectors and image sensors. The successful candidate will be part of the Functional Optoelectronic Nanomaterials group led by Prof. Dr. Gerasimos Konstantatos.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and optimize materials and devices based on Pb/Hg – free colloidal quantum dots
- Collaborate with industrial partners to integrate the optimum QD stack on a full image sensor
- Contribute to the development of truly interdisciplinary high-impact research
- Ph.D.-equivalent degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Material Science
- Experience in the fabrication, characterization, and optimization of optoelectronic devices for photodetection
- Strong background in the physics of optoelectronic devices and proficiency in TCAD modeling of photodetectors
- A dynamic and stimulating research environment
