We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Quantum Flagship. The successful candidate will be part of the Functional Optoelectronic Nanomaterials group, led by Prof. Dr. Gerasimos Konstantatos, and will focus on the development of RoHS compliant colloidal quantum dot photodetectors and image sensors.
Key Responsibilities- Design, fabricate, and characterize colloidal quantum dot photodetectors and image sensors using solution-processed materials.
- Optimize material properties and device stack on a die level, and integrate the optimum QD stack on a full image sensor in collaboration with industrial partners.
- Conduct research and development activities to improve the performance and efficiency of colloidal quantum dot optoelectronic devices.
- Collaborate with the research group to develop new materials and devices, and publish research findings in high-impact journals.
- Participate in the development of research proposals and grant applications to secure funding for research projects.
- Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Science, or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in the physics of optoelectronic devices and proficiency in TCAD modeling of photodetectors.
- Experience in charge transport studies, low noise techniques, and optoelectronic characterization of devices.
- Direct demonstrated expertise in colloidal quantum dot optoelectronics, or experience in device fabrication and stack optimization using solution-processed materials.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment.
