Position Overview

The role of the Swedish Cloud Solutions Consultant involves driving new customer acquisitions for Microsoft Cloud services. This position emphasizes maximizing up-sell and cross-sell opportunities through collaboration with sales agents and partner managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Articulate the value propositions of the client's cloud offerings, ensuring alignment with the business goals and IT strategies of customers.
  • Deliver comprehensive technical product insights tailored to customer requirements and usage scenarios.
  • Enhance technical expertise by providing innovative solutions that foster customer success in cloud adoption.
  • Evaluate competitive solutions in relation to customer needs and experiences.
  • Verify implementation prerequisites and pricing estimates to provide customers with accurate cost projections for new services.
  • Showcase technical and business solutions to clients via virtual meetings.
  • Conduct rapid assessments of technical feasibility and develop proposals for identified customer solutions.
  • Achieve a deep understanding of Microsoft's Cloud offerings, utilizing available training resources. A minimum of Fundamentals certification is required, with L200 certification preferred.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for the SMB Vendor Tele team with prospective clients.
  • Facilitate both group and individual training sessions on areas of expertise.
  • Meet and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for new revenue and sales pipeline, along with operational metrics.
  • Continuously research and stay informed about the latest developments in cloud technologies and pricing from both Microsoft and competitors.

Qualifications

  • 3-6+ years of experience in technology sales or business development, preferably in a technical sales or presales context.
  • Comprehensive understanding of key end-user scenarios and technical frameworks for productivity and communication solutions.
  • Knowledge of identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance as they relate to cloud and hybrid solutions is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment and adoption strategies.
  • Experience in designing, migrating, and managing cloud-based productivity and collaboration solutions.
  • A strong interest in cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends. Minimum Fundamentals certification is required, with L200 certification preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree is mandatory; a master's degree is preferred, especially in fields such as computer science, mathematics, or engineering.
  • Demonstrated history of exceptional performance and goal achievement.
  • Proactive in expanding technical knowledge independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills suitable for a customer-facing role.
  • Able to convey complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, linking technological solutions to measurable business outcomes.
  • Results-oriented, thriving in diverse teams and dynamic environments.
  • A genuine passion for cloud technologies and their transformative potential.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • English: Intermediate or Fluent (verbal and written)
    • Supported market: Fluent or Native
