Port Operations Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Port Operations Executive to join our team at Tui Cruises Gmbh. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient handling of vessel operations for our port of calls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary liaison between Cruise Line, port authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient handling and processing of vessel operations.
- Coordinate vessel arrival/departures and berthing arrangements with port authority, terminal operators, security, government entities, and maritime service providers.
- Facilitate vessel entry/clearance procedures, including customs, immigration, health formalities, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize various systems for all vessel entry/departure requirements.
- Work in close collaboration with suppliers to ensure the delivery of safe, healthy, and sustainable services.
- Attend to administrative duties, including planning and booking transportation, accommodations, and other travel arrangements for clients.
- Resolve any problems that arise during emergency calls and propose improvements to workflow to enhance productivity and efficiency in port operations.
- Monitor vessel movements, port, and weather conditions to anticipate operational challenges and minimize disruptions.
- Compile and submit updates throughout the day for vessel operators and Cruise Line's corporate managers.
- Complete sailing documents required for invoicing/billing within an acceptable timeframe.
About You:
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and oral. A good academic background and maritime studies are desirable. Previous experience as a Port Agent is preferred. You should be available to rotate night shifts and have problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as good office administration and organizational skills.
