Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of mechanics to perform routine and complex maintenance on various types of General and Special purpose vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise day-to-day maintenance operations on Government War Readiness Material (WRM) vehicles and equipment, ensuring all vehicles are returned to service in safe and serviceable condition.
- Perform minor and major maintenance on Government Vehicles (GOVs) and complete vehicle work order request forms according to Air Force instructions (AFI).
- Inspect and repair military, industrial, and commercial designed base maintenance, material handling, special purpose, general purpose vehicles.
- Determine the general condition of Government vehicles and perform Limited Technical Inspections (LTIs).
- Diagnose unusual noises, road test, and operate vehicles to test components.
- Remove, disassemble, repair, replace components, assemblies, and subassemblies, and reinstall as required to maintain vehicles in safe operating conditions.
- Perform functional tests and repairs on water and fuel pumping systems, cable and hydraulic lifting equipment, forklifts, towing equipment, gasoline, and diesel-powered engines.
- Make operational adjustments on drag brakes, relief valves, operating chains, lift cylinders, clutches, transmissions, brakes, and engine components.
- Perform lubrication, oil and filter changes on Government fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Perform minor corrosion control repairs detected during safety, scheduled, and unscheduled inspections.
- Perform collateral duties associated with vehicle maintenance practices, including administrative processes such as vehicle work order and parts request forms.
- Perform simple tasks using a computer and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook.
- Perform motor vehicle preventative maintenance checks and inspections on various Air Force vehicles.
- Complete administrative work order and parts request forms to complete maintenance actions and request parts for Military vehicles.
- Must be certified as a vehicle mechanic and mechanical systems.
- Must have a host nation or equivalent driver's permit.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English at a basic level 1 (B1).
