About the Role

FrieslandCampina is seeking a skilled Demand Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth through effective demand planning and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Maintain Demand Plans: Create and manage demand plans for the coming 18 months, taking into account statistical forecasts for operational and tactical horizons.
  2. Optimize Planning Processes: Safeguard optimal planning processes that fit within the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring seamless integration with other business functions.
  3. Business Dynamics Analysis: Translate the impact of business dynamics into the demand plan, considering factors such as New Product Development (NPD), phase-in/out, promotions, events, seasonality, tenders, contracts, and activations.
  4. KPI Management: Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Service Level, Forecast Accuracy/Forecast Bias, and waste (obsoletes), ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with main stakeholders, including sales, marketing, finance, and supply planning, to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  6. S&OP Meeting Preparation: Prepare and present S&OP meeting materials, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  7. Process Improvement: Continuously improve the demand planning process through analyses and improvement initiatives, driving business efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Forecast Review and Adjustment: Handle the daily review and adjustments of SKU-based forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
  9. Data Integrity: Maintain data integrity of assigned SKU item definitions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
