Job Description

Arrow Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Market Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IP&E (Interconnect, Passive & Electromechanical components) division, you will be responsible for developing and executing market strategies to drive business growth and increase market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to support assigned market segments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities
  • Work with suppliers and product management to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities
  • Create and execute comprehensive product and service offers
  • Contribute to the development of communication programs and materials for business development
  • Evaluate and manage supplier and channel programs within assigned markets
  • Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities
Requirements
  • Experience in electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing, or Product management
  • Experience in IP&E - must have
  • Experience in engineering and business strategy - market & customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis)
  • Strong sales skills
  • Full driving license and readiness for business travel
  • English language skills - fluently in writing and spoken
  • Spanish language skills (native or C1)
  • Expertise in engaging with executive-level stakeholders
  • Track record in delivering results in market/segment management or development of comprehensive solutions offers in business-to-business industry
